OVERVIEW
CO2 lift carboxytherapy is a transdermal topical gel/mask that is the first clinically proven cutaneous delivery system of carbon dioxide. The science has been widely used since the 1930’s and is based on the "Bohr effect", which uses CO2 to enhance the delivery of oxygen to tissue (akin to a "topical hyperbaric chamber"). It increases blood flow, thereby increasing the delivery of oxygen, water, red and white blood cells, antihistamines, platelets, human identical exosomes and growth factors to skin, etc. The treatment on its own is anti-aging, healing, improves micro circulation, neoangiogenesis (increases the actual number of blood vessels to improve circulation, hydration (by 117%!). Furthermore, there is enhancement of fibroblast production of elastin and collagen to improve skin elasticity (26% after 6 treatments).
There are 2 versions for professionals : CO2 lift Pro for the face/ body / penis / anus and the CO2 lift V for the vagina. The latter can be used both inside and outside the vagina.
CO2 lift works from within the body to stimulate the body to heal itself using the natural cellular components already within its blood and tissues. It is the only topical carboxytherapy that has been proven in clinical trials to dilate blood vessels and thereby blood flow. This results in cellular changes at the endothelial level. This work has been published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology as well as others.
Other uses include reducing downtime both pre and post laser treatments. It works by hydrating the skin (117%), clearing the extracellular matrix, and improving bloodflow to the affected areas. It is used in medical/ general derm (reduction of symptoms related to eczema, rosacea, atopic derm, etc) and also surgical/ post surgical applications (MOHS, wound healing, post-plastic surgery, labiaplasty, avoiding necrotic tissue development, etc).
